Someday I’ll learn...I hope!

  It’s Thursday, one of Robert’s days off.  Sigh. Last night we talked about things that needed doing; grocery shopping,  treating ourselves out for lunch at Jimmy Jacks Rib Shack, basically a day of “running”.  Costco, Thiesen’s, etc. I am not complaining, believe me, but it does get old. I have absolutely no objection to Robert sleeping as late as he wants to on his days off; today was no exception. It was about 0930 when he got out of bed - I suspect the only reason why he did was because I got in the shower as there was just no other way to make it happen since he was going to want to shower and “wake up”.  Did what I needed to do and then when I came out and said “Good morning” to him, he began telling me all about the show he was watching on TV - I think it was something on the Food Network. So much has happened since October!

It will take some time to catch any potential readers up - I have not posted here since October 2020.  Of course, it won’t be every little tiny thing that happened since then, but instead, will be bits and pieces as appropriate. But now, it’s April, 2021. ~~~~~ Goddammit, it’s cold outside! I’m freezing!   (By the way, I’m wearing shorts inside - it’s in the 50’s. He’s just returned from taking the dog for a walk, says he shouldn’t have taken her because it is just too cold outside.  He’s now trying to put his coat away in his closet, and the doors are old, have needed repair for years and so now he’s screaming that he’s going to take them and throw them away, specifically, out the window.) He’s angry because all the network channels are carrying the trial of Chauvin, who killed George Floyd.  While I agree that is overkill, he is pissed because he wants to watch Jeopardy and it is prompted until the trial is done for the day.  Thankfully it did end before the s...
